Corporate Banking

Corporate banking refers to the aspect of banking that deals with corporate customers. Commercial banks make loans that enable businesses to grow and hire people, contributing to the expansion of the economy. Both types of banks offer various products and services.

Typically, corporate banking is a specialized division of a commercial bank that offers various banking solutions, such as credit management, asset management, cash management, and underwriting to large corporations as well as to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

The most common and evident difference between retail and corporate banks is their customer base. Retail banks have a large customer base. Whereas corporate banks are limited to a few business clients like mid-small companies. Retail banks involve limited transactions.
